Project title: COMPLEX MEDICAL BIOLOGICAL STUDY FOR THE INNOVATIVE USAGE OF POTENTIALLY THERAPEUTIC ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS FROM SALINES AND CAVES FOR HEALTH AND BALNEOCLIMATERIC TOURISM; SOLUTIONS FOR THEIR MODELLING

Project number: PN II 42-120

Acronym: CEFACTERMEDSUB

Abstract:

The research theme is new, applicative and it includes fundamental studies, support activities, as well as its dissemination and capitalization. The project aims to achieve a complex multidisciplinary medical study in partnership (the study is done on laboratory animals with induced conditions, as well as on lots of patients with chronic inflammatory and allergic diseases). The study also includes an analysis of the underground environment of saline mines and caves, possessing potentially therapeutic factors, insufficiently studied and capitalized. The project envisages the optimization of speleotherapeutic methodology and the development of new and innovative technical solutions for the modelling of that particular environment with potentially curative parameters for use in health and balneoclimateric tourism.
